Electronic Signatures & DocuSign

  • When you use our online bail packet, your information is transmitted to DocuSign to facilitate the electronic signing of bail bond documents.
  • DocuSign processes your name, email address, and document contents to enable electronic signatures. DocuSign does not use this information for marketing purposes.
  • All data transmitted to DocuSign is encrypted using TLS (Transport Layer Security) encryption in transit and AES 256-bit encryption at rest.
  • DocuSign maintains SOC 1 Type 2, SOC 2 Type 2, and ISO 27001 certifications for information security.
  • Electronic signatures are governed by the E-SIGN Act and the California Uniform Electronic Transactions Act. By signing electronically, you consent to the use of electronic records and signatures.
  • Signed documents are stored by DocuSign and accessible via a secure link provided in your email. Team One Bail Bonds retains copies as required by California Department of Insurance regulations.

Data Retention

  • Bail bond records are retained for as long as required by California Department of Insurance regulations and applicable law.
  • Contact form submissions are retained for up to one (1) year.
