Our Commitment

Team One Bail Bonds is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards to make our website as usable as possible.

We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities. Conformance to these guidelines also helps make web content more usable for all users.

What We've Built In

Accessibility Features

The following measures have been implemented throughout this website to support accessible use.

  • Skip Navigation Links

A "Skip to main content" link appears at the top of every page, allowing keyboard and screen reader users to bypass repeated navigation.

  • Semantic HTML Structure

Pages use proper heading hierarchy, landmark elements (main, nav, footer), and semantic HTML5 tags to convey structure to assistive technologies.

  • ARIA Landmarks and Labels

ARIA roles, labels, and descriptions are applied to interactive components and regions that require additional context for screen reader users.

  • Keyboard Navigation Support

All interactive elements — links, buttons, forms, and accordions — are fully operable via keyboard alone, with logical tab order throughout.

  • Visible Focus Indicators

All interactive elements display clear, visible focus indicators when navigated to by keyboard, meeting the WCAG 2.1 AA focus visibility requirement.

  • Alt Text for Images

All meaningful images include descriptive alternative text. Decorative images are marked with empty alt attributes or aria-hidden="true" so screen readers skip them.

  • Color Contrast

Text and interactive elements meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios: at least 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text and UI components.

  • Responsive Design

The site adapts fluidly to all screen sizes and orientations, including mobile devices, tablets, and enlarged browser text settings.

  • Reduced Motion Support

Animations and transitions are suppressed for users who have enabled the prefers-reduced-motion media query in their operating system.

  • Form Labels and Error Descriptions

All form fields have explicit labels. Validation errors are communicated programmatically via role="alert" and aria-describedby so assistive technologies announce them.

  • Accessible Accordion Components

The FAQ page uses native <details>/<summary> elements, which are keyboard-operable and expose expanded/collapsed state to screen readers without custom scripting.

  • Screen Reader Compatible Navigation

Site navigation uses proper list markup, aria-label attributes, and aria-current="page" to clearly communicate location within the site to screen reader users.
